Dr Sarah Falgowski M.D.

Sarah Falgowski, M.D. is the owner and sole physician at Delaware Psychiatry and Wellness.  

 

Dr. Falgowski, MD, completed medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine, and served as chief resident during her psychiatry residency at The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Medical Center. Prior to her medical training, she earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.  

 

Before opening Delaware Psychiatry and Wellness, Dr Falgowski practiced for 10 years at Crozer Keystone Health System in Upland PA.  She co-founded the health system's Women's Behavioral Health and Perinatal Psychiatry program.  She practiced Community Psychiatry for 8 years serving as the Medical Director at Community Hospital in the under-served community of Chester, PA.  Subsequently, she practiced Addiction Medicine for over 2 years as the Medical Director of First Steps Treatment Center, a drug and alcohol detox and rehabilitation unit located in Crozer Hospital.  

 

Professionally, Dr Falgowski rose to the position of Associate-Chair of the Department of Psychiatry for the Health System.  She served as President of the Medical Staff for Crozer, Taylor and Springfield Hospitals.

Dr Falgowski opened Delaware Psychiatry and Wellness in 2019 to better serve the mental health needs of Delaware residents while continuing to offer services to Pennsylvanians.
